I devoured this book. The Immortalists is the story of four young siblings who are each told the dates of their deaths by a fortune teller. Each sibling reacts differently to knowing the date of his or her demise, and it alters the course of each sibling's life.
There are no answers here. This is not a tale of the supernatural, fate, or destiny. Instead, it is a study of what we do with the time we are given. How we choose to live our lives when we are given an end to our time on the earth. The way that a thought planted in our minds - even while we may scoff at it outwardly - can create the very things we are trying so hard to escape.
