The concept of this book was so creative. Four siblings, as children and young adults, seek a sort-of fortune teller and find out the dates of their deaths. They thought they wanted to know, but once they have the information, they all react differently to having it.

From the beginning, I knew Simon was going to break my heart with his story, and I was right. Honestly, had he been born even just 10 years later, his story probably would have been longer and had a happier ending. Klara's story was also heartbreaking, with her young child. Daniel and Varya at least had longer lives, although query whether they were happier than their younger siblings because of them.

Overall, this was an enjoyable read that made you think - if you could, would you want to know when you will die?
