One of the books that has had ALL THE HYPE lately is the Immortalists by Chloe Benjamin. This book begs to answer the question of how a life could be impacted if you were told the day you would die at a young age. Would it make you more conservative? Would you be more reckless? Would you be kinder? I suppose that would depend on what the date was you were given. Four teenage siblings find out the day they are prophesied to die and the book follows their life afterwards. I enjoyed the premise of this book immensely and I liked the pattern of how it was told. I was not completely hooked at the very beginning, but as the book kept going I was hooked! I’d love to hear other people’s thoughts on this.
