I absolutely loved this story. Chloe Benjamin weaved in so many brilliant characters in the beautiful and complicated story of the Gold siblings. It's a story that has stuck with me years after I first read it, and I often turn to it when friends ask me what they should read next.
The story itself had so much promise from the start -- a group of siblings as children sneak away to visit a traveling psychic who tells them the exact date of their death. And from there, we see how those siblings live out their lives. It was a great concept, well-executed to the end. I was moved, and I sped through this book in just a day or two because I simply could not put it down.
