Witty Hamptons Visit.
This novel definitely had an interesting theme to me, since I love art and the art world, and this story concerns an art-world widow stuck in the Hamptons.
I like the fact that it's well-written, witty, and not pedestrian, like seemingly most novels. There's comedy and humor. My heart sort of sinks when I see emails, but these are played for inherently comedic travesties that they are.
Obviously, if you're in the Hamptons you're going to have some class differences. That's part of why I love the theme, although I personally have never been there and I'm certainly not fancy.
But exploring different milieux, different social classes, and different relationships, with a bit of skullduggery thrown in, is sort of fun!
