The book started off with a pretty good plot. Having to rent your house out to strangers for the summer because you really can't afford to live there during high season then the parents in the midst of seperation but having to pretend. Definitely not one of my favored reads but the author does deal with some real life issues and draws you in with the different things that are experienced during the novel.

I was gifted this book for an honest review and probably if I had to pick it as one that I could buy not sure that this would have been a choice for me as its not really my normal genre.

The author has a style of her own and the novel packed with indelible characters, crackling wit, and ok for some but not particularly one of my favorites.
