My title means this story left me wanting more of the story .. or a continuation, so to speak. I would love for the story of Emily and Lucas to keep going, as I came to really care about them through the course of this book.
I love thrillers, drama and coming of age stories. And although this is far from a typical coming on age story, I feel that this book delivered all three. Emily is brave, strong and smart. The horrific events of her childhood will make her into an even stronger woman. Lucas's character was not as strong for me, but if there is a sequel or series I would love to learn more about him and see what the future holds for him as well.
In closing, I enjoyed this engrossing quick read and would recommend to those who enjoy the same genres of books that I do.
