My first impression of the book is, well, honestly I don't like the cover at all. Sometimes cover art comes off as... DIY? And that can lead a lot of readers to pass up on a book that might be really great. I know you should never judge a book by its cover, which is why I read the first look. The story definitely felt different to me! It is something I would be interested in finishing.
