An exciting mystery is unfolding in this First Impression. It grabs the reader immediately. You want to find out what has really transpired. Emily and her younger sister are unloading groceries at their home. Two strange men come up and ask their mother if they could siphon some gas from their car. Something bad happens but we are not entirely certain, perhaps the mother and sister are dead. Then, we find Emily who is using a fake name traveling alone to obtain a fake I.D. Emily is only 12! The main character is appealing and street smart but far too young to be on her own.
