Some things about this cause me to pause, such as the twelve-year old who is focused on revenge. At that age, some things seem a bit unlikely and hard to believe, even for a fiction story. The writing style with the accents was a bit distracting, just in the sample, and I'm not sure I'd care for that through the entire book.
