This is a debut book from Chris Arnone, so I hadn't read anything by him before and didn't know what to expect. My first impression of this book from the cover was that this is something we’ve seen before. However from page one it’s clear that this will be a good original book. There were like five science terms I didn’t know the meaning of but it was still easy to understand. I really liked the writing style, it flowed easily and kept me in the perspective of the main character. This is a science fiction book through and through, but it had some elements of a mystery which made it extra fun! I felt really immersed in the world and how it was different from our own. I do wish this book had been longer, it was only about 300 pages. I think after this I will for sure be checking out more cyberpunk science fiction books! I'd recommend if you like that genre.
