Sci-fi has forever been a favorite genre of mine, and this story has started out pretty strong. The writing did feel a bit choppy at times, but the plot was fast-paced enough that it didn't drag it along at all. The stakes are high, the protagonist is exciting, and the story is just waiting to unfold.
