probably not a bad YA story, but too young for me
Teenagers and car accidents tend to go together in many YA stories and that is what we have here. Spencer lies in a hospital bed, injured and with a loss of memory for the actual accident. Police, family and friends are visiting and giving her bits of info on what has happened since.
The repetition of phrases reminding her of the accident didn't need to be repeated as often as they were, for my pet peeve. We get it already.
The pages included really didn't get into the issue that I think the book is really about which is the question of who was driving. Was it her boyfriend as stated in the sample pages or not?
