Well, Danielle Vega has me hooked yet again! Her books are always so fast paced, and this book seems like it is no exception! Although I don't think this book will be absolutely terrifying, I do know that I can't wait for it to come out so I can find out what happens next! Vega's creative imagery and chilling details really add to the suspense. (Also in the first chapter or so, she compared the fingers grabbing the little girl to cold chicken, which I found so funny! Such a creative, but strange way of describing them!) Her horror style of horror is not something that will prevent you from sleeping for a week, but it definitely is good for readers looking for a mild to moderate scare. If you enjoyed the Merciless books, or just looking for a spooky read, I would definitely recommend picking this up! It will not disappoint you!
