I enjoyed the overall story, but it felt very rushed. I would have liked to have seen more story and character development. I found myself wanting to know more about what happened with Eddies mom and the overall history of the town and house. With little to no explanation given it was hard to accept what really happened in 1999. I think given another 100 or so pages the author could have given the reader so much more and made the story more intense. I know the author is capable of so much more and that is why I am a bit disappointed. That being said I did like the way the author told the story and it did have a great thriller quality. The descriptions were amazing and very creepy. That alone kept me reading. I just wish we would have been given more.
