This book I received to review was much anticipated as I really liked the excerpt I read but , however, after reading the entire book I felt like it missed the mark on so many levels. The story line and plot were adequate but the characters never fully got developed enough for the reader to form a strong bond with any of them. There were gaps and paragraphs, perhaps even pages where the story seemed to drift. Overall I liked it but found myself not focusing on what I was reading after awhile. The plot needed to engage the reader more or perhaps simply forge the characters to be ones we care about. I would say it was just an OK read but definitely not something I would recommend to anyone looking for an engaging read..
