I like the author so I was excited to dig into this but this book wasn’t for me. It was too horror-y and I didn’t vibe with it at all. Based on the snippet on the site I didn’t think it would be too bad but I just couldn’t. It wasn’t a bad book, I still like the way the author writes, so if you’re into creepy-ness this book might be for you. Especially in the spooky season. I actually did not finish it because life is short and books are abundant and I think sometimes you’ve got to cut your losses because you should read books that make you happy. I gave my copy away to a little library in hopes it would find a good home with someone who loves it - the home it was meant to have. I always feel bad when I don’t vibe with a book, but not every book is for every reader. And that’s okay. Anyway, I hope this book finds a lot of readers who love it. Plus the cover is amazing!
