I really enjoyed the experience of reading this book. It did take a long time for me to get through it because of limited time due to school but it was hard to put down every time I had to put it down. I definitely think that this book needs to be read in a single sitting to get the full thrill and atmosphere that the author is trying to create. The breaks I took really blew that and it kind of made me feel disconnected to the story, hence the lower rating.
I loved the use of PTSD and anxiety in this book. I felt like it did a good job making the reader wonder what was real and what wasn't real and that really helps making the story feel more realistic and scary because the book is told in Hendrick's point of view and since we can't trust Hendrick it adds a layer over everything. Especially since she doubts herself often in the book.
