The Haunted did give some good vibes, but it wasn’t as gut wrenching scary as I was anticipating.

I enjoyed this read. I feel it could have been creepier, but maybe that’s because I’m not the age level this is meant for. The atmosphere in the book definitely gave me Halloween vibes. I will probably reread this closer to Halloween when I crave the ghost stories. Definitely worth a try.
