So, reading the first impression gives me the impression of a super creepy (maybe going into horror as the book progresses) read about what appears to be a haunted house. Love me a haunted house! The serious creep factor was definitely present in the first bit I read. Unfortunately I'm a complete chicken and won't read past the 'first look' :)
