This story immediately kicks off with a bang! Just by reading the first few pages I could tell this novel would be a page turner. And that statement rang true. This novel takes place in Paris, France which is another major bonus in my eyes. There is just something about the Parisian atmosphere that pairs wonderfully with this classic mystery novel.
The writing style is super easy to read, and the story is just as easy to follow. It is definitely not one of those novels that you have to try too hard to comprehend which makes it that much more enjoyable as a reader.
