I wasn't sure exactly what I was expecting from this one but it was quiet a wild ride. The cover had me super intrigued given it was a bit dark themed and I loved that we had Paris as our backdrop setting during this story. My reading experience did not match the expectations I had for this book but that is probably because of my own expectations for this book. Unfortunately it fell a bit short for me and I felt the story was quiet lackluster. It wasn't quiet on oar for the action and suspense I typically expect from a thriller type of story. I didn't care much for the aspe t of the detective either. The character was boring and the concept didn't feel very unique for me. I wish that the magic that was put into the cover art of this book had translated into this story. I finished the book so it was entertaining enough but I definetly won't be recommending this to a friend.
