The cover caught my eye first. I like the use of the tarot being used in this story and how it reflects back to the cover. Opening was intriguing with a little bit of sinister and atmospheric intensity. I am not sure if I’ll connect with the characters but if it’s more plot driven, I am ok with that as well. From an assassination attempt to what the synopsis offers, it sounds like this could be an excellent mystery.
