This is really more of a 2.75 stars for me. I rounded it up to 3 because the intent was there and the story was original at least in my mind. I think I had too high of expectations because of how fantastic "The other Woman" was.

So the premise of the book was Jess shows up and tells Lauren and Kate that she is their sister. They share the same father (who had passed away). The sisters are shocked to their core. Lauren is a little more open to accepting Jess and getting to know her. Kate is not so opened and she is having a hard time believing that her father strayed. I liked the dynamic...one sister who was ready to accept and then the other not so much. The first few chapters had me hooked and I settled in for a crazy ride.

Sadly though, it fell a little flat for me. There was too much that seemed to be going on that didn't have a lot to do with the story which took away from the focus. It did started to go a little slow at some points but it did keep me reading. The ending wasn't really as explosive as I was hoping it would be. I still love Sandie Jones, but this was not my favorite from her.
Thank you Bookish First for the ARC in exchange for my opinion.
