The book begins with Kate at the doctor in attempt to conceive a child. It shows her emotions vividly and made me as a reader empathize with her. Then, we meet Lauren and Simon, (Simon - I despise you) who clearly feels that she has the short end of the stick in the family. The two sisters relationship is lacking, and only gets worse upon a certain arrival...then family drama begins! I mean, is she really who she says she is?
I did NOT expect the ending, which I normally do. Upon deeper reflection, I could totally figure it out because there were clues that I apparently didn't catch on to.
I finished this book in two days and it kept me on my toes the entire time! Its definitely a must read!
