You never know what happens when you submit DNA samples to those ancestor websites, but you might want to re-think it. Lauren wants to see if she has any long-lost relatives and finds out that she might have a half-sister that no one knows about. Jess shows up at the family home soon after “dad” has died, leaving Lauren, her sister Kate and their mother shocked. They all thought dear old dad was faithful, so is Jess really their half-sister or is it some kind of scam? All kinds of trouble ensues and there is quite a bit of family drama. This is not really a mystery, so if you go into the book thinking that is more of a family drama you might enjoy it more. Overall, a good book by Jones and I enjoyed it very much.
