The cover of The Half Sister makes it clear that it’s some sort of suspense. Sort of fits in with the wave of domestic suspense that have half of a woman’s face on the cover. Makes it seems mysterious. The first look was good. We are introduced to these two sisters, who are different, but both facing some hard challenges in their lives and marriages. It’s clear that neither of them have someone they can truly be open and honest with, and that need would be fulfilled with one another, but it’s not happening. In comes long lost half sister, who no one knows about, and that’s clearly what we are meant to think is the main suspense, but I think there will be more to the story. All in all it seems like a good story, and I may pick it up when published.
