Sounds like it could be interesting but the excerpt didn't really pull me in

The synopsis intrigued me. This sounded like a promising mystery book, full of secrets and a dysfunctional family. I think that might still be there, but there isn't an intriguing enough mystery in the excerpt to really make me want to read more.
