It's been almost a year since Kate and Lauren's dad passed away, and they are still gathering for Sunday lunch as family, though it's just not the same without him. One Sunday, there's a knock at the door, and it's a woman named Jess, claiming to be their dad's daughter. She thought they knew, but of course they had no idea. I've enjoyed Sandie Jones' two past novels and this one proves to be just as intriguing. I'm also interested to see if Kate's fertility treatments are successful, and how Lauren's marriage plays out.
