Initially I was worried I wouldn't enjoy this book, because it's genre is a little out of my comfort zone. I was concerned it might be too dark or "heavy" for my interests at the moment.
However, I absolutely loved this book! It reminded me of old western books/movies with a modern twist. Overall, it was phenomenal. The characters were well fleshed out, and the plot kept me awake reading late into the night. I read the entire thing in less than two days.
I would definitely recommend this book to any high school teachers looking to bolster their class library. I will most certainly be picking up a few copies for my classroom. It was a very thought provoking and interesting read.
