I was super engaged while reading this and I loved following these girls as they were on the run. This is marketed as The Handmaid's Tale meets Westworld and I haven't seen Westworld but this almost makes me want to. I loved the old fashioned western vibes of this as they're literally involved in old fashioned stick ups of awful men in order to try to get the money that they need. There's some supernatural stuff in here as well. I really enjoyed seeing the characters come into their own, and care for each other. There's an f/f romance in here between 2 side characters that was lovely to see. It wasn't all light and fluffy though as clearly all the characters had been through trauma prior to this, but I thought it was dealt with well.
