Vivid and Interesting from the First Word

The opening scene of this book hooked me in right away. The author described the scene vividly, I could feels the man's hands and lips, spell his breath, feel his body, hear his footsteps and his breathing... it was a very emotional start.

I am interested to see what happens to Clementine and the rest of the girls at the Welcome House. Where is this story going to go?
