Wow! What an incredible first look! First off, the cover looked great, and showing right off the bat there is going to be at least one person of color made me very interested from the start. The premise looks very promising, and I'm a sucker for female-led literature. The excerpt itself was fantastic. It promises a fresh look at fantasy, and there is the start of some great problematic dynamics between the group of young women, which makes for some complex characters. I'm very excited to read the whole novel!
