This book set me on edge from the beginning. The Handmaid's Tale comparison is definitely apt except it skips to the good part where they all try to escape which makes for a far more palatable story. I like that the cover immediately paints a picture and the diversity is certainly a draw for me, but it also understates who the Good Luck Girls are which feels like a disservice to the book from a marketing standpoint. It reads like an older YA that could go either way which is a plus given it's topic.
