I'm Not Sure Yet... Although the Writing is Good
I'm not sure yet whether I'd like The Good Luck Girls or not. The writing is well done -- it's not that -- I'm afraid the content might be a little disturbing.
The land that these two sisters live in is poor and would be a horrible place to live in. They are sold to what is essentially a brothel and one of the sisters accidentally kills the first person who hires her. Oops. Then they escape.
I think the part after the escape would probably be pretty cool. I'm not so much interested in the part where there in sex slavery. Fortunately, I think that's only a small part of the book.
