The Good Luck Girls reads like a thrillingly innovative story with grit and character depth. With a plotline that doesn't hold back, Davis' words easily pulled me into the true struggles of our characters and those in this unique world from the beginning. I felt the depravity and loss of self and the anxiety behind their motives, and couldn't read it fast enough. There was a real sense of urgency that stayed with me upon ending the sampler that I haven't been able to shake and I cannot wait to see where their stories lead. With a beautiful cover that seems like it was meant to ironically convey what the Good Luck Girls represent, this story is sure to be unputdownable.
