This story opens with such a beautiful mother daughter relationship which quickly turns tragic. I really wish we had more insight into Eliza's relationship with her mom; hopefully we'll get some flashbacks. I love a "my life has fallen apart, time to have fun and build a new one" storyline. Eliza's godmothers are written so well that they practically leap off the page. I can't wait for this to come out!
