This story is a good one for those that wonder about anorexia and those that suffer from it. It gave the perspective of a young women that had everything going for her, but yet it still took a grip on her and she could not let go without intervention. She went to 17 Swann Street and met all kinds. The ones that come in by ambulance and never move off the couch, the one that has been there for four years, the ones like her that have a chance. They have visitors, they have a reason to get better. It is a world that many of us have never been to or have experienced and yet it is a problem for a lot of people. This story talks about the underlying factors of why the disease takes such a grip on some and why it is so hard to let go. Food is not the enemy and yet, food becomes the enemy. A good easy read.
