This book is gorgeous. I just couldn't get over how much you dive into a subject of eating disorders and make it so elegant. I was hooked from the beginning.

You are taken on Anna's journey as she is trying to recover from anorexia. With the support of her husband (ps every book husband needs to be like this) who never gives up on her through the journey. She goes through highs, lows, and triumphs.

The book is elegantly written. The dialogue is in italics and you almost sometimes feel as if you are in Anna's head through all of this. The Girls at 17 Swann Street are all survivors and it is their choice if they get better or not.

I think that has to do with every type of illness. You can decide to get better or you can just decide not too. I'm glad Anna did. It is definitely a beautiful debut.
