So I've read my fair share of books about eating disorders in my day, and I have to say, this is probably the best one I've ever come across.
I loved the writing style. It was dreamy and poetic and refreshingly different. The prose is told in an altogether different format and it works really, really well for this story.
I don't think this book was perfect. I would have preferred more of an epilogue to see what became of Anna but that's only because I wasn't ready for the book to end. I was enjoying it too much.
If you are curious about how anorexia works, I highly recommend reading this book for some insight. I'm not sure if this book is Own Voices or if the author just really did her research but it felt so authentic and spot on.
