Perhaps I was anticipating a completely different story than what I had gleaned from the excerpt but I found myself slightly disappointed in how the story played out and evolved. While I would say it held my interest in various sections, there were also many parts THAT i FOUND WERE DRAGGING ALONG AND COULD HAVE BEEN EITHER ELIMINATED OR SHORTENED TO FURTHER THE STORY WITHOUT BOGGING IT DOWN. The plot and story line never really became fully developed enough for me to follow what was going on. Several times I had to turn back and see what was being referred to from earlier. The character development was definitely better than the plot development but not enough for me to consider this book a great read.
