Haunting and personal

I cried through this one. It’s dark and depressing, but it’s also a reality for so many that does not need to be ignored. This book is extremely well written- personal and honest. It’s a shocking wake up call in the best way. You read it feeling like you a very much inside Anna’s head and world. This is a book that makes you feel compassion for the people who struggle with this disease. At the end, you feel like you know each character and want desperately for them to get better and lead healthy lives. It’s wonderful.

I would recommend this book to a lot of people- friends that I know hav struggled with eating disorders and the ones I see who could be on the verge of one.
