I thought this was an amazing and hauntingly beautiful debut novel. I read this book in one day as it was impossible to put down! The book centers around Anna who has Anorexia nervosa and is admitted to 17 Swann Street, a home for women with eating disorders. I got caught up in Anna’s life before treatment, during her stay, and what her future may look like if she should overcome this disorder. The other women in the story play a big part. They are all vulnerable and human as they struggle to survive and give each other strength. This book is fiction but reads like a memoir. It is sad, uplifting, riveting, haunting and one that will stick with me for a very long time. I won this book from Bookishfirst and I highly recommend.
