Difficult but Beautiful Read

The first 8 chapters of Girls at 17 Swann Street was absolutely stunning. The writing is poetic and haunting as we learn the path that lead Anna to the door of 17 Swann Street. Already we can compare the girl she once was with the girl she is now. Each chapter's unique style keeps the story moving quickly along. The writing is playful and quirky - styled to reflect the emotions being felt by Anna as she watches her life and her body fall apart. In her moments of joy, the writing is quick and colorful, and in her moments of sadness, the writing is slow and melancholy. Cannot wait to read the rest of the novel and see where the story takes us, and who we will meet at 17 Swann Street. It is sure to be a beautiful but difficult story.
