Not My Typical Read, But Hooked.
The first book I read about eating disorders was Anderson's Wintergirls. I haven't read much else on the topic as I search for fat girl rep typically. Fat girls can and do get eating disorders but that's not what the vast majority of the literature is about.
Even with all that, Girls at 17 Swann Street hooked me. I love the medical form with real and truthful answers. I love the disjointed switching narrative. I love how the protagonist is so cold and lonely. That I can connect to very much.
