Being someone that used to read in front of the fire as a child, I totally enjoyed this story! What’s not to like when it comes to Russian mythology?! And I should mention that a more superstitious person ... you can’t find. As I type I’m looking at my red string around my wrist that protects me from the evil eye!! And the gold cross just in case!! So yes! The mixture of religious obsession and the old traditions is something that I totally understand and agree with. I found myself hating some of the characters and almost getting angry for some situations and that only shows how good the writer is to pull you into the story. You end up being part of the story and you want to act! You want to be part of it! To help and conquer! Thank you for yet another beautiful story
