First of all, I've been waiting to get my hands on this book for a year now. I found Arden's first book "The Bear and the Nightingale" in the bookstore when it was released last year and instantly fell in love.

I was SO afraid that we wouldn't be getting enough of Vasya and Morozko in this one because the first book left me feeling that she'd be spending most of the second book away from him. Thankfully, that thought was banished right away from the prologue. The tone of the book is just as magical and dreamy and the first - Arden puts you right in Vasya's shoes. Russian folklore is dear to my heard and I know the rest of "The Girl in the Tower" won't disappoint. As "The Bear and the Nightingale" was my favorite book of 2016 I'm absolutely positive this will go down as a favorite for 2017.

Even the little snippets I received of the new characters intrigued me and I can't wait to learn more about them and their relationship with Vasya. Putting that daring, brave, adventurous girl in the Moscow court society will be something crazy to behold and BOY I CAN'T WAIT!
