This is an interesting historical fantasy set in the Russian Wilderness. What’s really intriguing about it, is the atmosphere and the tone of the Russian background. You instantly feel transported into an entirely different world full of magic and new adventures to go on. Not only does it have amazing feeling, the entire plot line and magic of the story is super detailed and well crafted.
The characters are truly the best part about this entire book. The main character is such a strong willed and fierce girl who won’t stand down to the sexist expectations placed on her. It explores moralities, gender equality, and plenty of magical aspects along the way! I truly loved this book to pieces!
