Unfortunately, I haven't read the first book yet and really want to. This first impression not only made me want to read the first book, but it made me want to read this book as well. The writing style absolutely blew me away and really made me want to continue reading the rest of the book. I really enjoy the author's attention and description of detail. Just in the first paragraph, because of how she describes things, I could picture everything that was going on really well. The only thing that I didn't really like about this book was the cover. It made it seem like a children's book and that kind of held me back but I definitely want to give it a chance after reading the first look. I hope I get to read it soon!
