The words paint a picture so clearly that it makes you want to find out what comes next. This sounds like an amazing story and is definitely one to get just to find out the rest of the story. The characters really come alive in the story. The reader can feel the cold of the snow and winter. Makes the reader want to curl up with a hot drink and a warm fire. It also makes the reader want to read the first book if they haven't yet.
